In the first three quarters, Jingjiang’s exports increased by 65.7% year-on-year

The reporter learned from Jingjiang Customs that in the first three quarters of this year, the total value of Jingjiang’s foreign trade imports and exports reached 40.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 58.5%. Among them, exports were 33.73 billion yuan, an increase of 65.7%. This is the first time that the total value of Jingjiang’s foreign trade imports and exports has exceeded 40 billion yuan.

As the top priority of Jingjiang’s foreign trade, shipbuilding companies represented by New Era and New Yangtze have strengthened lean production management and built high value-added, green and environmentally friendly ship types. Jingjiang’s shipbuilding completion volume, new orders, and backlog orders are leading the country, and ship exports continue to maintain a strong momentum. In the first three quarters, Jingjiang’s ship exports increased by 50.3% year-on-year. At the same time, industries such as big health, new energy, and optoelectronics have maintained stable development, and the import and export potential of emerging industries has been further released.

Jingjiang’s foreign trade has continued to maintain strong growth, which is inseparable from the help of continuously optimizing the business environment. In the first three quarters, the number and amount of various certificates of origin issued by Jingjiang Customs increased by 33.08% and 55.83% year-on-year, respectively, helping the export of “Jingjiang Manufacturing” to increase both quantity and quality.
