Cathay Pacific A350 makes emergency landing at Tokyo Haneda Airport

A Cathay Pacific A350 made an emergency landing at Tokyo Haneda Airport.

The A350-900 passenger plane numbered CX840 was photographed parked on the tarmac of Haneda Airport.

According to the flight radar tracking website, the passenger plane was originally scheduled to go from Hong Kong to New York in the United States. The passenger plane flew over the east of Japan to Hokkaido and turned back. It landed at Tokyo Haneda Airport at around 1 a.m. on Sunday. The cause of the emergency landing is currently unknown.

Last month, 15 of Cathay Pacific’s A350 passenger aircraft needed to replace parts due to engine failure, resulting in the cancellation of many flights.
