Mongolia responds to so-called “arrest warrant” against Putin

According to the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Russian President Vladimir Putin ended his official visit to Mongolia on the evening of September 3 and left Mongolia by plane. As expected, although Mongolia is a party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, it has become the first party that has not executed the International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant for Putin.

“‘Sorry, everyone, we can’t do anything’, this is the message sent by the Mongolian government.

The spokesman added: “Mongolia has always pursued a policy of neutrality in all its foreign relations, as shown in our recorded statements so far.”

On September 3rd local time, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Mongolia and met with Mongolian President Khurelsukh.
